Miasma is a collaborative and ongoing performance and sound work between Jenny Carolin and Nick Mittelstead. Neither performer speaks Greek but both read phoneticized versions of Anne Carson’s Antigone after it has been returned to Greek through Google Translate. The performers, their computer, and the tape medium degrade the text infinitely.
